All LoJack Stolen Vehicle Recovery Systems rely on a patented Radio Frequency based technology that uses a special FCC-allocated radio frequency. From ground or air, police can track the silent signal from your LoJack--whether it is in an underground parking facility, in a warehouse or in a container on a ship-and recover your equipment.
LoJack's Solution For Construction is a ruggedized, Silent Transceiver that's randomly hidden in your equipment. LoJack is automatically activated by a routine stolen vehicle police report. Once the LoJack is activated, the police can begin tracking and recovering your stolen equipment.
Three LoJack offerings are available for commercial customers:
Ruggedized LoJack
- Designed specifically for heavy-duty/off-road equipment
- Self-contained, one-piece unit that allows for easy concealment and mounting location flexibility
- Features a sealed, waterproof enclosure that is water, dust and chemical resistant and meets SAE design standards for heavy-duty vehicles
- Operates with 12V or 24V battery source
Base LoJack
- Designed for SUVs, light trucks, truck tractors and other over-the-road commercial vehicles
LoJack for Trailers
- Designed specifically for untethered trailers
- Self-contained with long-life battery--no external power source required
